Lending a hand for flood cleanup

As part of its corporate social responsibility, SWM Environment Sdn. Bhd. (SWM) had once again come forward to assist the

victims of Kampung Baru Pandan and Kampung Bunga Ros, Kangkar Tebrau flash flood, recently.

Johor Regional Manager of SWM, Mohd Zan Arris disclosed that preparations for the cleanup had been done earlier by SWM

through monitoring made by SWAT Responz Squad who recorded heavy prolonged rainfall throughout the week.

Mohd Zan said that the cleanup operation involved seven personnel including five SWM-owned

bulk waste trucks and

bulldozers. The operation gathered a total of 1.62 metric tonnes of solid waste such as furnitures affected by the flooding.
